Specializing on the manufacturing of quality pressure gauges, thermometers and calibration services, PT Yamamoto Keiki Indonesia was established on June 21, 1989 by two potent resources from Japan and Indonesia, namely Yamamoto Keiki Mfg. Co. Ltd (YKM), and an Indonesian partner.

Currently, with the accelerated enhancement of quality output and its calibrating laboratory to international industry standard, the Company enjoys a good reputation for quality, reliability and fastest service in calibrating measurement. These competitive advantages have further spurred the development and expansion of instrument as well as their accessories to cater both domestic and the overseas market.

Corporate Data

Since its inception in 1989, with a working capital of US$ 700,000 and paid-up capital of US$ 400,000 the Company has been rapidly growing its reputation and product lines. Managed by Mr. Shintaro Yamamoto, the president director with strong support from Indonesia experts, the Company focuses its line of business in the fabrication of Pressure gauge as well as bimetal thermometers.

Strategically located in the growing industrial area of cikarang, Bekasi, the Company occupies an area nearly 3,000 sqm and more than 1,800 sqm building, the Company employs 66 skilled and experienced staff members.

At Present, the Company operates at an annual production capacity of 198,000 pressure gauge units, 42,000 bimetal thermometers plus 1,200 laboratory services.

We are earnestly conducting continuing improvement in developing the human, natural preservation, productivity, quality and punctual delivery, through the “Five Actions (5A’s)”:

  • Optimizing the right and efficient resources to ensure the quality and Prevent the occurrence of environmental pollution as well as its substitution efforts.
  • Improving preciseness and accuracy in each process.
  • Providing satisfaction to the customers and related parties though good management and laboratory practices.

Quality Standard

Fulfilling the Commitment to attain the highest standard, PT Yamamoto Keiki Indonesia has been conducting continuous improvement in its constant strive for excellent product and enhancing the skill and technical mastery of employees to match the strictest quality requirement from Yamamoto Keiki Manufacturing, Co. Ltd, Japan. In 1990 the pressure gauge product has been trusted for export market in Japan.

In 1996, Further attainment was achieved with the successful implementation of the JIS B 7505 standard on Bourdon Tube Gauge, as marked by the acquiescence of ID 9617 Certificate. Being in the forefront of advanced calibrating industry in Indonesia, Commencement of ISO/IEC 17025:1999 on Calibrating Laboratory had been taken into effect. This Performance had resulted in the official recognition no. LK025-IDN on December 1, 2001.

Not contented with the existing standardization practice, furthermore the Company has applied the ISO 9001:2000 quality system standard, authorized by BVQI dated October 26, 2001 with certificate no 101677, authenticated by three international institution, i.e. ANSI-RAB, JAS-ANZ and UKAS, and even the implementation of ISO 14001:2004. Having accomplished the consolidation of the four certification standards into “Yamamoto Keiki Indonesia Green Company System”, the Company has commenced the launching of the green marketing concept.
